Helped our whole family

We came to Emma for help with our Son who suffers with anxiety, hyper sensitivity and anger outbursts. The course alone is amazing, its helped us explain to our son that his feelings are normal and helped him to deal with them and be calm. It hasn't just helped us with our son though and has helped us with all our five children and I can honestly say that we have become better parents because of it. Emma has helped us handle our own anxiety and feelings of overwhelm. I can see that she cares about all the people she helps and I never felt judged. You defiantly need to put in the effort though, the more you apply yourself the more you and your family will benefit.

Amazing Tailored Support and a Wealth of Knowledge

Emma, I really don't think I can say everything in my heart. I am truly grateful for you and your course. I was always a reflective person and have tonnes of experience in working with children and families. However, when I myself was going through a difficult time and I was watching the anxieties in my child increase day by day, I knew I needed to learn more about a child's brain and I knew I wanted someone who I believed sincerely cared about my experience to help me on this journey of supporting my child. From the very first conversation with you I could tell that you are completely invested in empowering parents to help their child. You knew exactly what I was going through because you've been through it yourself. I felt no judgement. Since I started I have grown in my own understanding of myself, my emotions and how to regulate them but also in my child's difficulties and how his brain is working. I have been able able to help him navigate through what could have been years of difficulty. Within a few months my son is back to his happy go lucky self and we are both much more resilient. We trust ourselves now and have faith in our own abilities keep ourselves happy and strong. I really can't thank you enough xx

A wonderful course!

I am so grateful to have been recommended this course! Navigating life with a child who experiences extreme anxiety can be a very lonely and stressful journey. This course provides not only informative content about the physiology of anxiety in all it's aspects and update understanding of how to support your child with it. You are also able to learn at your own pace whilst being closely supervised and provided with tailored, non-judgmental support throughout. The coaching and online classes provide opportunity to meet families facing similar challenges which gives you a sense of not being alone which is invaluable.

What Parents are saying about Raising the BRAVE...

"The programme has been useful in so many ways. Before the programme we were muddling through and winging it much of the time. This has now given us a great platform from which to work from. Its only been a couple of months but we're seeing really positive changes and we've learnt so much."

M, dad to 6 year old boy

"Before I started the programme, I couldn't see a light at the end of the tunnel and I carried a lot of guilt for L's anxiety. Now I'm more accepting that its not all my fault and I have the tools I need that can help us both to have a much better quality of life"

L, mum to 8 year old girl

"I've also learned to feel more empowered myself - by understanding what's going on when I'm triggered too. I am more self compassionate and Its important and helpful for my kids to know I can make mistakes and apologise. We have all grown as a family through being on this programme"

K, mum to 12 year old boy

Emma-Jayne Browne

Hello! I'm Emma-Jayne, I'm a qualified Child Therapist, Adult Psychotherapist and Parent Coach with over 23 years experience of working therapeutically with children and families.

I live in North Yorkshire, England with my husband, 2 teenage daughters and little dog, Maggie.

I am passionate about empowering parents/carers to support and transform their child's mental health. I am fascinated by the human brain and the mind-body connection and I love translating Relational Neuroscience (the parts of the brain and nervous system that keep us in connection with ourselves and others) for parents/carers and making it practical, useful, and ultimately- life changing for families.

I believe wholeheartedly in the transformational power of the parent-child relationship and that any healing within a child has to start with supporting the parent.

Recovery from my own lifelong struggle with anxiety and parenting 2 children with significant anxiety/neurodiversity has led me to develop this easy to implement method of empowering parents to transform their child's excess anxiety into resilience and inner strength

I created Raising the Brave as a result of seeing the increase in child anxiety issues, particularly since Covid, together with a lack of resources in the UK. This motivated me to combine my 23 years clinical experience and specialist training with my own lived experience of what really works on a deep level to transform Anxiety into greater Resilience & Confidence.

I know this programme is life changing and I feel honoured I get to be on this journey with you. Can't wait to meet you on the other side...
